A general rule of thumb – more ink colors = more money. Each individual ink color requires an individual screen to be made.
‘Screens take time’
The number of items in your order can drastically affect the price per unit. If we can take all of the time spent on screens and split that costs among more shirts, it lowers the price per unit.
Nobody likes hearing that word, but the reality is quality work takes time. If you already have clean, print-ready vector artwork, awesome – that makes the process fast and smooth. But many files sent to print shops are low-resolution images like JPGs or PNGs that need to be rebuilt into proper vector artwork before we can print them correctly without losing quality. We also offer custom design services to help bring your ideas to life. The more detailed and color-heavy a design becomes, the more time, setup, and artwork preparation it requires.
